Where children learn to
make love grow
At Church of the Savior, we believe preschool is the foundation upon which the building blocks of education are formed. We nurture inquisitive learners by providing each child the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential – socially, academically, emotionally, spiritually and physically. We use a creative approach where play is the basis for learning. Each child works at their own level as we recognize that the process is the key to learning.
The curriculum of Church of the Savior Preschool reflects the need for young children to have a variety of firsthand experiences to help them become aware of God’s world, and of themselves and others. Content is taught within a framework that is Christ-centered and developmentally appropriate. The process of learning is very important. Through discovery learning, children grow in many areas – art, music, language, math, science, social skills and perceptual-motor development. Our classrooms are child-oriented with opportunities for both structured and self-directed activities and experiences.
“COS has become like family to us, a home away from home. We feel so welcomed and loved by all of the staff. Liana looks forward to come to school daily. She has grown socially, emotionally and academically, because of the amazing teachers.”

“My daughter started at the preschool last year in the All by Myself program. I have no doubt that when she gets to kindergarten she will be well prepared. I was looking for a school where I felt comfortable to leave her, and we definitely found that here. I know she is in great hands the moment we drop her off.”

“Church of the Savior Preschool is family to us. I cannot imagine my children attending any other preschool. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my littles in the hands of any other staff or teacher. I know they are safe, well taken care of, and treated like one of their own. My oldest graduated with a strong Christian faith that started at COS and continues at home and in our church. Now my youngest is getting that same experience. I couldn't be more thankful to have found this gem of a school.”
